Solemn

I am leading myself into my grave; not because life doesn’t hold me in embrace but because I have repeatedly let me down and no more can I go on like this. My lithe body is now rigid and limp and all it desires is to cuddle with the earth and let it caress my remaining essence.

Dear Life,

I have never meant to offend you but I know I have. Please forgive me. Let me go now.

Dear AD,

Query: How does a supple body be simultaneously rigid and limp.

Besides, of course, the standard straw man of a dead yoga guy with rigor mortis who has lost a lot of blood...

Beyond that moment of cognitive dissonance, however, this is a very emotive piece. You'll get the people who look at the title of your blog worried, again.

Tschuess,
Chris

you are leading your life to grave but you are learning the hard way what is a grave? and how to identify it.!!

life always tries to hold your values & sanity while you driving thru grave..

Quite an emotional piece. I do agree with Chris, about ridged and limp. Would stiff work?

Strong and emotional with a hint of darkness.

death will come quick enough without you rushing to it.

All of us offend our lives, in fact I'd say life offends us as well (or at least makes us think that way). We dont ask our lives to let us go. Why not ask to make us learn from our past and make us a better person in future...

We all feel that way but it passes too.

I wish you the very best...

And, therein, is a wide slice of life!

A very sad goodbye note but one I think most of us feel at least once in our lifetime. Beautifully written.

An appropriate call to the Suicide Hotline. Very emotive piece.

Echoing Chris, perhaps limp then rigid? That would parlay the sequence of death to onset of rigor mortis. We men are so logical...
