You can run from the disappointments you’re trying to forget. But as a promise of life to you, your past will be loyal to you and it is only when you embrace the obscene accidents, mistakes and regrets that you will truly move forward.

I really like the usage of the word "loyal" here. Our past stays with us and keeps on pinging us until we truly accept it and learn from it...

I LOVE it!
It encompasses the obvious that is only obvious when we acknowledge it. It encompasses a truth that is normally run down, run over, and lives a runty life in the ruts of our aimless cart-driving in the trails of the past unlearned from, only lived through.
