Look closely at those who patronize you. Half are in darkness, half unfeeling. Their only objective is for you to weaken. So do not get carried away in the shadow of their praise. While you celebrate they will plan to conquer you.

I work with someone who is soooo patronizing, it is unbelievable...in front of you she is all complimentary and praising and what not, and behind you she twists the knife nice and slow. I love people like her because time and time again it makes me stand up and be counted... and in the process, I make sure they see who/what I really am.
